If you’re coming in on the 403 westbound, take the York Boulevard exit and continue until you reach Hess Street, then turn left/head north until you reach Barton, then right/east for another block.

If you’re coming in on the 403 eastbound, take the Main Street exit and continue until you reach Hess, then turn left/head north until you reach Barton, then right/east for another block.

If you’re coming in on the QEW, take the Burlington Street exit and continue on Burlington until you reach Bay Street North, turn left/head south until you reach Barton, then right/west for another block. 

PARKING

Please do not park in the neighbourhood closest to Bridgeworks (i.e. Caroline south of Barton, Windsor, and south side of Barton between Hess and Caroline). This is a permit parking area reserved for residents and your vehicle may be ticketed/towed.

There are approximately 40 paid parking spots in Municipal Car Park 49 at the corner of Barton and Caroline. The City uses the Passport Parking app, downloadable here. Simply download the app and create an account. Park anywhere you see the Passport Parking App sign, enter location ID number to pay from your smartphone (Visa & Mastercard payments only).

Roughly 200 street parking spaces are available within two blocks of Bridgeworks, located curbside on the north side of Barton, and the northernmost ends of on Hess, Caroline and Tiffany.

Additional parking capacity may be available at West Harbour GO, two blocks north of Bridgeworks. The station has 300 spaces of surface parking, with access at Tiffany.

Two dedicated accessible parking spaces reserved for patrons with Ontario Accessible Parking Permits are located directly outside the venue’s doors. The venue’s parking lot is otherwise reserved for staff and performers.

Venue operators are not responsible for any damages or lost/stolen goods.

Please be quiet and respectful of our neighbours when travelling to and from the event.

GO TRANSIT

GO Trains on the Lakeshore West line run regularly from Union Station to Hamilton.

Lakeshore West trains depart hourly from Union for West Harbour GO, which is located roughly two blocks north of Bridgeworks, a 5-10 minute walk. Eastbound train service also runs from the station, with final outbound trains departing for Union at 11pm Friday and 11:13pm Saturday.

Lakeshore West trains also depart Union Station at 3:47pm, 4:17pm, 4:47pm and 5:47pm to arrive at Hamilton GO Centre at 4:57pm, 5:27pm, 5:57pm and 6:57pm respectively. Hamilton GO Centre is a 25 minute walk from Bridgeworks, or roughly 5 minutes by cab. Note: There is no return GO Train service out of Hamilton GO Centre until Monday morning.

GO Buses run frequently between Union Station Bus Terminal and Hamilton GO Centre. GO Buses also run from York University and Square One Bus Terminal to the Hamilton GO Centre. Hamilton/Toronto Express Bus service between Union Station and Hamilton GO Centre runs regularly throughout the day, with the final outbound buses departing at 11:10pm Friday and 10:55pm Saturday. Hamilton/Richmond Hill bus service runs until 2:15am daily with hourly trips between Hamilton GO Centre and Richmond Hill Centre offering connections to Square One and Pearson Terminal 1. Hamilton/Pickering bus service runs hourly out of Hamilton GO Centre, with final eastbound departures at 11:05pm Friday and Saturday.

Lakeshore West Bus service connects Hamilton GO Centre to Aldershot GO Station, providing access to Lakeshore West GO Train service outside of weekday rush hour as well as convenient connections for VIA Rail and Amtrak Maple Leaf passengers.

CITY TRANSIT

HSR – From James St N, you can catch the #4 BAYFRONT on the west side of James. It’ll take you towards Hunter, past the back of City Hall, up Bay, and then over to James St. N where you’ll get off at James and Barton. From there, head five blocks west and you’re at Bridgeworks. The Bayfront route’s Friday service runs every 20 minutes from 5am-6pm, and every 30 minutes thereafter. Saturday service runs on a 30 minute headway. Cash fare is $3.25. (PRESTO fare is cheaper still.)

Burlington Transit connections (through routes 1 or 101) can be made through stops at York & Bay or King & James.

ACTIVE OPTIONS

WALK – Once you get downtown you can wander along James Street North taking in the sights, turning left at Barton and travelling five blocks west as you make your way to Bridgeworks. The walk from King & James to the Bridgeworks takes a leisurely 15-20 minutes. Walking from West Harbour GO takes 5-10.

BICYCLE – Cycling from downtown is easy: It’s less than 10 minutes from James and Main to Bridgeworks. Hamilton Bike Share offers bike parking at Bay and Mulberry in Central Park. You’ll also find HBS’s bold blue bikes stationed at racks around Hamilton, available for hourly rental.
